A man from Cunningham (Tennessee) set up a new world record on a pocketbike. Will Rodgers, tells us his story! A ride plan was developed. Including a path of low speed limit and as little commercial traffic as possible. Using a stock, Honda XR50 2002. The Natchez Trace Parkway was an obvious choice as no commercial traffic is allowed, the speed limit is mostly a maximum of 45 miles per hour so going slow would not be an issue. Some days before, that couple celebrated the 10th anniversary of the marriage. The tour of the bouquet on David’s return on 28th march 2016, was Gwangju to Seoul by car, Seoul –Frankfurt by plane, and Frankfurt – Barcelona by plane. 39-year old Stuart Gunn may be paralysed from the waist down and also blind, but that didn’t stop him setting a new world record and beating Billy Baxter’s 2003 record of 263,9 km/h (164,87mph). On Saturday 6th June, Marc Guillemot smashed the solo North Atlantic record for a monohull with a time of 8 days, 5 hours, 20 minutes and 20 seconds – or 15 hours, 48 minutes and 11 seconds less than the previous record set by the British skipper Alex Thomson in July 2012. Finishing at 0439hrs UTC (0639hrs CET), the skipper of Safran covered the 2880 miles of the distance between New York and The Lizard at an average speed of 14.59 knots.
