The World’s Largest Online Burlesque Class was devised by Sapphira who is the creator of World Burlesque Day. Sapphira believes everyone should try burlesque for confidence. Her school the World Burlesque Academy was joined by 14 other burlesque groups setting the record at 155 participant with special guest Erik Lee Preminger, son of Gypsy Rose Lee.

Inspired by Virgin Holidays who set the World’s Largest Burlesque Dance in 2011 former Chief Marketing Officer, Andrew Shelton, was recognised with a certificate.
Burlesque is growing with Steven Antin bringing Burlesque The Musical to the UK and burlesque festivals growing 96% worldwide. Sapphira wants to reach more people inviting subscribers to join her online school. She is one of 20 entrepreneurs in 2023 on Virgin StepUp funded by the European Commission’s Regional Development Fund, London Assembly and Virgin. Sapphira hopes this new world record will attract the support of her business idol Sir Richard Branson to help her gain investment and funding.
